In a previous issue of the Chronicle we printed a list of web sites with information about the Strata Property Act (SPA) and related matters. If you know of any other useful sites please send details to the Association so that we can include them in a later compilation.

The site of the Ministry of Finance and Corporate Relations who drafted and are responsible for the SPA.
On the Legislative Assembly site can be found the texts of bills (the SPA was originally Bill 47).

Dolden Wallace and Follick are a Vancouver firm of insurance lawyers. The site contains numerous legal articles on insurance including the page above on the insurance requirements of the Strata Property Act.
The site of the Stratasphere organisation run by Ms Cora Wilson. Stratasphere offers membership, a newsletter, a range of reasonably priced publications and various articles. Of special interest is a comprehensive article on bylaws

The Electronic Law Library (ell) is part of the BC Public Libraries (bcpl) site. Information is available on most legal matters including matter of concern to condominium owners and strata councils.
Ascent Property Management have assembled much information of use to condo owners.
Condoaid is another site with information of interest and value to condo owners.
The web site of Proline Property Management. Their .../links.html page has links to organisation, Acts, etc.
The Homeowner Protection Office is responsible for residential building licensing, the repair loan program and PST relief programs for leaky condo owners and research and education to benefit the construction industry and consumers. Much important information here.
The Canadian Condominium Institute does not yet have representation in British Colombia but is the only National organization dealing with condominiums.
