1. The name of the Society shall be:
2. The members of the Association shall be those Strata Corporations in British Columbia who have applied for membership and have been accepted by the Board and are in good standing with the Association.
3. Corporate members and individuals may be accepted by the Board as Associate Members of the Association.
4. The purpose of the Association is to further the interests of member Strata Corporations and thereby all Condominium residents. To this end the Association will do, but is not limited to, the following:
(a) Maintain liaison with Government at all levels.
(b) Liaise and cooperate with other Condominium Associations and organizations concerned with condominium affairs.
(c) When requested by a member Strata Corporation, provide assistance in matters such as;
(i) forming new Strata Councils,
(ii) drafting Bylaws and Rules,
(iii) dealing with problems affecting the affairs of the member.
(d) Publish a periodic newsletter through which articles and information on condominium matters will be disseminated to Strata Councils and condominium residents.
(e) Maintain a presence on the internet.
(f) From time to time conduct seminars and arrange lectures on matters of concern or interest to condominium residents.
